About us
A family run business. We have been working within the laundry service sector with companies large and small for over 25 years.
Michael Berry our Managing Director began his career as a qualified precision tool maker, moving on to work as a self-employed laundry
engineer in 1994.
In 1998 he formed M.C. Maintenance Ltd.
With close to 30 years experience, we are very well known with companies in the industry and its engineering circle.
We have worked nationwide & internationally, with all manner of companies using laundry machinery. Our general clientele include the NHS,
Her Majesty's Prisons, hotel groups, cruise liners, airline suppliers, dyeing facilities and restaurant service providers.
Regularly working with laundry machinery manufacturers, installing new and reconditioned machinery on their behalf.
The service we provide is second to none and over the years word of mouth and recommendations from our customers has meant business
has always remained busy.

Our laundry installation service
From a single machine being installed into an existing laundry, to a full laundry installation of multiple machines into a new site, there is no installation too big or small.
Installing all of the necessary pipe & cable to run from your existing incoming services with final connection to the machinery ready for you to begin production.
We also offer machine commissioning services where required.
If you would like any assistance with finding/sourcing machinery, we know many suppliers of new, reconditioned or second hand machines.
Moving a laundry to a new site
Moving an already operational laundry to a new site can be seen as an overwhelming task.
It's something we have arranged for many of our customers new and existing. Working with you, we will ensure your move from one site to another runs as smoothly as possible. This helps you to maintain a clean linen supply for your customers, whilst we worry about the machinery being disconnected and dismantled where required and arranging transportation to the new site to be positioned and connected, ready for production.
Adding and replacing machinery in a working laundry
We are happy to add or replace existing machinery within a working laundry, this is done whilst working with you to ensure minimum disruption to your production time.
Re-springing service
Even with the most up to date and varied machinery the ironer is probably the one machine every laundry has. Rusty damaged spring tape can be the reason clean linen isn't ironed to an acceptable standard. We offer a full re-springing service, we remove old spring tape and are able to supply and replace it with new spring tape. We can supply and fit new clothing as and when required too.
Machinery repairs & parts
Machinery can break down or present a fault that stops it performing correctly. We offer a repair service and we are also able to supply most parts required for repairs.
Having repaired thousands of laundry machines over the years, there aren't many we haven't worked on.
This is by appointment/booking only.
Although we do not offer a breakdown service, we understand the urgency of this type of issue and will do our best to supply an engineer and/or replacement parts as soon as is possible.
